Privacy Policy

Last updated August 8, 2026

Clayon (“we”, “us”) is a private, consent-aware AI companion app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Clayon, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

How we use it

We use your data solely to operate Clayon: to run your conversation with your companion, remember what you've told it, deliver notifications you've opted into, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversations to show you third-party ads.

Your control

Notifications are off by default and require your explicit opt-in. You can review, correct, or delete what Clayon remembers about you, disable notifications at any time, and request deletion of your account and data by contacting us (see Support).

Data storage and security

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers, Durable Objects, and a managed Postgres database) with access restricted to what each part of the service needs to function. Push notifications are delivered via Expo's push notification service, which relays messages to Apple's APNs and Google's FCM on our behalf — we never see your device's raw platform credentials directly.

Children

Clayon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
